996 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 21,

SATURDAY, March 21st, 1868.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by the Rev,
Mr. Leech.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

Messrs. Stewart, (Speaker,) Loker, Coad, Beck, Ham-
mond, Iglehart, Bond, of Calvert, Dalrymple, Mitchell.
Chapman, Nicolai, Slingluff, Montague, Biddisou. Lowe.
Corbin, Horsey, Percy, Stewart, of Dorchester, Johnson,
Mearns, Guy, Williams, Sudler, Albaugh, Wenner, Bowlus.
Maynard, Byers, Silver, Nelson, Vandiver, Moore, Sanner.
Wentz;, Robb, Morse, Blake. Latrohe, Pentland, Smith, of
Baltimore city, Bond, of Baltimore city., Colton, Chaisty.
McElroy, Harig, Markland, Conway, Coudy, Herbert. Rohrer.
Seibert, Offutt, Conley, McCulloh, Kean, Trimble, Hall
Worthington, Clark, Jones, Fooks, Hopkins—62.

Mr. Lowe submitted the following order :

Ordered, That T. H. Hubbard have leave of absence until
Tuesday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Sudler submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Touchstone have leave of absence for two
days.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Sanner submitted the following order ;

Ordered, That it be entered on the journal that Mr. Jno.
B. Wentz is absent from his seat in this House on urgent and
important business.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Vandiver submitted the following order :
