970 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS. [Mar. 20,

Houses of the last General Assembly, (House Proceedings,
1867, pp. 1072 and 1104,) to meet a similar committee ap-
pointed by the Legislature of Virginia in February, 1867.,
"to adjust and mark the Eastern Shore Boundary between
the two States, the results of their work to be submitted to
the Legislatures of the said States for approval or rejection."
We have named on the part of the House, Messrs. Mullin,
Smith, of Worcester, and Corbin.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.

Mr. Mullin (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol-
lowing order :

Ordered, That there be printed for distribution 500 extra
copies of the Report of the Joint Committee from the two
Houses of the last General Assembly to meet a similar com-
mittee appointed by the Legislature of Virginia in February,
1867, "to adjust and mark the Eastern Shore Boundary be-
tween the two States, the results of their work to he submit-
ted to the Legislature of the said States for approval or re-
jection."

Which was adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered

The bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 26 of the Code of
Public General Laws, and to enact a substitute therefor, and
to repeal section 22 of Article 16, sections 99 to 103 of the
same Article, and sections 83 to 43 of Article 88 of the Code
of Public General Laws.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported said hill back to the House without amendment,
and moved that the bill be put upon a second reading this
day, in accordance with the provisions of section 27, Arti-
cle 3, of the Constitution.
