Registers of Wills.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Riggs submitted the following amendment :

Sub-section 147, line 2, strike out the word "ten," and
insert the word thirty.

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended,

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Seriate bill entitled an Act to amend the 7th section of
the 18th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, provid-
ing for the payment of public moneys by clerks and regis-
ters.

Said hill being upon a second reading,
Mr. Riggs submitted the following amendment:
Section 7, line 3, strike out the word "ten," and insert the
word thirty.

Which was adopted.
The bill, as amended,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.

Also, favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add to the 10th section of Ar-
ticle 56 of the Code of Public General Laws a sub-section re-
quiring a license to enable any person to act as real estate
broker.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section G, and to repeal,
amend and re-enact section 5 of Article 40 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws entitled marriages.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Brown, from the Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably

A bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act
to authorize the Pennsylvania Horse Thief Dectecting In-
surance Company of York, Pa., to transact business in the
State of Maryland.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Markland, Chairman of the Committee on Public
Buildings, reported favorably
