To Barry Post Office Literary Institution., 15,000.

To the Buckeystown Association of High Tumblers, and to
the Philosophical, Scientific, Sudorific High-uff-and-buffin
Association of Liberty.

On motion of Mr. Corbin,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to pay the expense of running the boun-
dary line on the Potomac river, between Maryland and Vir-
ginia.

On motion of Mr. Rose,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Rose, Lowe and Johnson to
introduce a bill to repeal sections 125, 126, 127, 128 and 129
of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Tal-
bot county, sub-title Roads, relating to gates on the public
roads of said county.

On motion of Mr. Dalrymple,

Leave was granted to the Calvert and St. Mary's dele-
gations to report a bill to allow Isaac Solomon, of Calvert
county, to dredge for oysters during the summer months, in
that portion of the Chesapeake bay lying near the mouth of
the Patuxent river, within certain lines therein named.

Mr. Jones submitted the following joint resolution requir-
ing the Librarian to furnish to the Circuit Court for Howard
county certain law reports :

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Librarian be and he is hereby required to furnish to the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Howard county, Harris and
McHenry's Reports, four volumes ; Harris & Johnson's Re-
ports, seven volumes, Eland's Reports, three volumes : the
sixth volume of Gill & Johnsons' Reports, and the third and
fourth volumes of Gill's Reports for the use of said court.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Latrobe, acting Chairman of the Committee on Ways
and Means, reported favorably

Senate bill entitled an Act to add to the 11th section of Ar-
ticle 56 of the Code of Public General Laws a sub-section re-
quiring license to enable any person to act as insurance
brokers.

Said bill upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Montague,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Monday, 23d inst.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend sections 146 and
147 of the 81st Article of the Code of Public General Laws
