The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being

The bill entitled an Act to require the Rail Road Com-
panies of this State to provide a car or cars for the exclusive
use of the colored people of this State, and to amend Article
77 of the Code of Public General Laws of the State entitled
Rail Roads.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

Mr. Bowlus moved that the hill be indefinitely post-
poned.

Decided in the negative.

The bill was then read a third time, and passed by yeas
