1868.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 9

Ordered, That the Librarian be directed to furnish each
member of the House of Delegates for their use during the
session, a copy of the Constitution ;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hammond submitted the following order :

Ordered, That his Excellency, the Governor, be requested
to have the National flag displayed from the State House
dome, daily, at the hour of the opening of the House during
the session of the General Assembly, and lowered when the
House adjourn, and to appoint some suitable person to fill
the position ;

Which was rejected.

Mr. Legg submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the State Printer be directed to furnish
each newspaper of the State with one copy of the daily
Journal of the House ;

Which, was adopted.

Mr. Harden submitted the following order :

Ordered, That each member of the House be furnished
with a gold pen and a penknife, if requested to do so by a
member.

Mr. Wentz submitted the following as a substitute :

Ordered, That the State Librarian be requested to furnish
each member of the House with a penknife and gold pen.
