of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Attachments,
to come in after section 44 of said Article, giving jurisdiction
to Justices of the Peace to issue attachments, in certain
cases.

Which was read a first time.

Also, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal, and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 98 of Article 16 of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled Chancery, and relating to service of notice on
non-residents.

Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate an additional sum of
money for the more speedy publication of volumes 25, 26 and
27, Maryland Reports.

Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably, the

Senate bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act to pro-
vide for the restoration of the records, indexes, dockets and
papers destroyed or injured by fire in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court ibr Baltimore county, passed January
session, 1867, chapter 234,

And asked to be discharged from the further consideration
of the same.

The committee were discharged.

On motion of Mr. Biddison,

The bill was then recommitted to the Baltimore county
delegation.

Mr. Latrobe, acting Chairman of the Committee on Ways
and Means, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Faculty of
Physic of the University of Maryland.

Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably

Senate bill entitled an Act directing the Treasurer to pay
to the School Commissioners of Howard county the sum of
money due by the State from the academic fund.
