Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion.

Mr. Colton submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the printer have sufficient time allowed him
to correct and perfect the Journal.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, submitted the following
order :

Ordered, That C. S. Keech have leave of absence from
to-morrow, until Monday next.

Which was adopted

Mr. Percy submitted the following order :

Ordered, That leave of absence be granted Mr. Hopkins
for five days, to attend to important business.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Boyer submitted the following order :

Ordered, That D. S. Moore have leave of absence for three
days.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Hubbard,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to permit Dr. H. F. Willis to have a deed
recorded in Caroline county.

On motion of Mr. Percy,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to revive and continue in force
the charter of the Nanticoke Bridge Company.

On motion of Mr. Keech,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to authorize and empower Joshua C. Hig-
gins, late Deputy Sheriff of Prince George's county, under
Daniel R. Dyer and John W. Webster, ex-Sheriffs of said
county, to collect fees which were placed in his hands by
said Sheriffs for collection, and which have been duly
accounted for as other small debts are collectible.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to
introduce a bill to declare the sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland to the purchase of a parcel of land, not
exceeding in quantity ten acres, by the Vestry of St. Paul's
Parish, in Prince George's county.
