Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the charter incorporating
the town of Snow Hill, in Worcester county, and enact the
following in lieu thereof,

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Nicolai gave notice that on to-morrow he would sub-
mit an order that Rule No. 10 be amended by inserting,
that no member shall speak more than ten minutes at any
one time.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of bills en-
titled to a second reading.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for a new Code of the
Statute Law of the State, and to appropriate a sum of money
for that purpose,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, moved that the rules be sus-
pended, and

The House proceed to the consideration of bills entitled
to a third reading.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Latrobe submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 2, after the name of Wm. H. Tuck, insert
the name of Wm. T. Iglehart.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, submitted the following
amendment:

Section 1, line 2, after the name of Wm. T. Iglehart, in-
sert the name of Lewis Mayer.

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the 167th
section of the 93d Article of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled Testamentary Laws,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a.
third reading.

The hill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Free Seat Methodist Episcopal Church and Cemetery Asso-
ciation of Annapolis,
