Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to aid in the establishment
of a Hospital in connection with the Washington University
of Baltimore, and to appropriate money for the same.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, moved to amend the first sec-
tion of the bill by striking out all the titles attached to the
names of the corporators therein,

Which amendment was adopted.

The bill was then read a second tirne and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also, favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act empowering a trader to
sell license with stock of goods.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to require the several
clerks to the County Commissioners, and the clerk to the
Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore city, to make out a copy of
the revised assessment of 1866, and return the same to the
Comptroller of the Treasury.

Which was read a, second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller
of the Treasury to adjust and settle the accounts due by collec-
tors, sheriffs, clerks, registers and other receivers of the pub-
lic moneys, in cases where the indebtedness accrued prior to
the year 1866.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay sundry parties hereinafter named for publishing the
Public General Laws passed at January sessions, 1866 and
1867.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Cushings & Medairy, J. W. Bond & Co.,
N. E. Berry, James S. Franklin, Henry M. Murray, John
Treadway, E. B. Prettyman, Richard M. Chase, Alfred D.
