eighteen hundred and sixty-seven (1867) ; and four hundred
and seventy dollars to Jas. S. Franklin, Clerk of the Court
of Appeals, ibr recording the laws of the present session of
the General Assembly ; and to Wheelwright, Mudge & Co.,
five hundred and sixty dollars for their bill for paper fur-
nished the late State reporter for the printing of volume
twenty-five of the Maryland Reports, as per certificate of the-
Comptroller of the Treasury.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Montague submitted the following amendment:

Inspections.

Line 3, before the word hundred, strike out the word six,
and insert the word three.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Blake moved to reconsider the vote by which section
2, title " Inspections," was passed to a third reading.

Which was decided in the negative.

Mr. Colton submitted the following amendment:

Legislature.

Line 3, after the word thousand, insert the words five
hundred dollars.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Mullin submitted the following amendment:

Legislature,

Section 2, line 10, strike out the word "eight," and in-
sert the word twelve.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Colton submitted the following amendment :
Baltimore City.

Section 2, line 8, strike out the word "ten," before the
word thousandj and insert the words twenty-five.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Deale submitted the following amendment:

Miscellaneous.

Section 2, line 6, after the words "to a messenger for the
Governor seven hundred dollars," insert the words to a mes-
senger for the Treasury Department, six hundred dollars.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment:
