828 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 13,

in their respective schools, and the proper school officers:
created by this Act, be and they are hereby authorized and
required to pay their salaries according to existing contracts.

Which were severally read and adopted.

Mr. Montague moved that the House do now adjourn until
Monday next, at 12 o'clock, noon.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved that the House do-
now adjourn until 11 o'clock, this morning.

On motion of Mr. Blake,

At 2 o'clock, A. M., Saturday, the House adjourned until
Monday morning, at 11 o'clock.
