Mr. Jordan presented the petition of Dr. Win. N. Martin,
David K. Carlyle, Jacob H. Christ, and 47 other citizens of
Uniontown, Carroll county, asking this General Assembly
to grant them a revival of their corporation charter for the
village of Uniontown, (granted 1860,) with such amendments
as to enable them to collect fines.
Which was read and referred to the Carroll delegation.
Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Frederick county, against the repeal of the law prohibiting
the sale of intoxicating liquors within three miles of Myers-
ville.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
Mr. Lowe presented the petition of Robert W. Kinnamon,
and 59 other citizens of Bay Hundred District, Talbot coun-
ty, praying the privilege of using scrapes for the purpose of
scraping oysters in and around the waters of said district.
Which was read and referred to the select committee on
Oysters and the Oyster Law.
Mr. Slingluff presented a petition for reduction of fare on
the York Road Rail Road, from Govanstown Building Asso-
ciation No. 1.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.
Mr. Beck presented the petition of J. W. Edwards and
