Which was read and referred to the Kent and Caroline
delegations.

Mr. Keech presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Prince George's county, for the passage of an Act to reduce
the taxes in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's
delegation.

Mr. Boyer submitted the following order:

Ordered, That D. S. Mooie have leave of absence for one
week to visit his family on the Eastern Shore.

Which was adopted.

Mr, Clark submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Jones have leave of absence from and
after this day until Thursday next, to meet professional en-
gagements.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be instructed to
date the per diem of all officers of this House from the com-
mencement of the session.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hall submitted the following order :

Ordered, That leave of absence he granted to Mr. McCulloh
until Monday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Riggs submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it he entered on the Journal of the House
that Mr. Offutt, of Montgomery, is absent on account of
sickness.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Dalrymple submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Hopkins have leave of absence until
Friday next, to visit his family.

Which was adopted.

Ordered, That James A. Bond, of Calvert, have leave of
