Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
The following hill which had passed both Houses, was this
day delivered to His Excellency, the Governor, for his ap-
proval. An Act entitled an Act giving the assent of the
State of Maryland to the purchase of a parcel of land by the
Government of the United States, from Wm. H. Dorsey, and
others, and ceding to the United States or America the ju-
risdiction over the site of the Northwest Beacon building or
light house, and the parcel of land thereto appurtenant in a
line with the Brewerton channel, in the Patapsco river, in
this State.
