construct the said wharf so as to extend with its present
width, at least fifty feet beyond its present terminus, or to
the Port Warden's line, and all the costs and expenses of the
said extension, together with the costs and expenses of keep-
ing the entire wharf in good condition and repair, hereafter,
shall he paid and satisfied by the said Company ; provided,
that if the aforesaid Company shall fail to have the said wharf
extended in the manner aforesaid, within one year after the
passage of this Act, then in that case, the said Company
shall not be entitled to use the end or any part of said wharf,
as a landing for their ferry boats, nor to use the centre as
above described, for a thoroughfare for travel, and all the
remainder of the border sides and surface of the said wharf,
except the end and right of way granted upon the conditions
aforesaid, shall be, and the same is hereby reserved, exclu-
sively for the landing of such fruits, vegetables, and other
agricultural products as may he brought from the counties to
the city of Baltimore, for sale or otherwise.

Section 1, line 12, strike out all after the word " Law" to
the end of section.

Amend title by adding, and to grant on certain conditions,
the right to use the wharf known as the " County Wharf."

The amendments were adopted, and the bill, as amended,
passed by yeas and nays as follows:
