A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 110 of
the law passed January 20th, 1868, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the contributors to the Baltimore General Dispensary.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Home of the Good
Shepherd, in the city of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to
incorporate the Safe Deposit Company of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the construction of a
bridge over the Potomac River, near the mouth of New
Creek.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more Ice Company.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Pentland submitted the following amendment:

Add at the end of section 4, the words, "and they shall
give at least thirty days notice of the time of opening the
books of subscription to the stock, to be published daily in
one newspaper of Baltimore city.

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
