An Act authorizing the Howard Bank, in the city of Bal-
timore, to cancel and extinguish capital stock owned and
held by said bank.
An Act appropriating a sum of money to be expended in
removing the remains of the Confederate dead who fell in
the battles of South Mountain, Crampton's Gap, Antietam
and Monocacy, or died of wounds received in said battles,
to the Antietam National Cemetery.
An Act to repeal section 194 of Article 2, of the Public
Local Laws, entitled Anne Arundel county, sub-title Sheriff,
and to re-enact another section in lieu thereof, relating to
the fees of Sheriffs for keeping and boarding prisoners.
An Act to amend the charter of the Associated Firemen's
Insurance Company of the city of Baltimore.
An Act to repeal section 159, Article 1, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Allegany county, relating to Sheriffs,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
An Act to repeal section 23 of the 1st Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
An Act to authorize Betsey A. White, of Wicomico
county, to settle her accounts as guardian to David A.
White, and to deliver over the estate to her said ward.
An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Alle-
gany county to levy a sum of money tor improving a road,
running from Geeen Ridge on the National Turnpike to
Twigg's Lock, on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal.
An Act to incorporate a company to make a Turnpike road
from the city of Westminster to the Baltimore and Liberty
road, intersecting said road between the village of Elders-
burg and the Baltimore and Carroll county line, in Carroll
county.
An Act to incorporate " The Maryland Democratic Asso-
ciation."
An Act appropriating the sums of money therein men-
tioned to pay the claims of Plummer & Usilton, Wm. H.
Council, E. E. Ewing, E. F. Perkins, Dr. Montgomery
Johns, Samuel L. Geisinger, John T. Watkins, Edwin M.
Shipley, Samuel Smith and George W. Murdock.
