cle 57 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
concerning limitations of actions.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to add a section relating to life
estates in real property, to Article 16 of the Code of Public
General Laws, entitled Chancery.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Bond, of Calvert, Chairman of the Committee on Col-
ored Population, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the 39th section of the 6th
Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to negro
apprentices, and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows.

Mr. Clark, Chairman of the Committee on Expiring Laws,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
fees of Justices of the Peace.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of the Act of
1868, chapter 39, entitled an Act to authorize the Delaware
Rail Road Company to extend a branch rail road across the
State line into Kent county, Maryland, and to re-enact the
same with amendments,

Mr. Deale, Chairman of a select committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel county to subscribe in behalf of said
county to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point
