Oa motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend an Act entitled an Act to incorpor-
ate the Safe Deposit Company of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Sudler,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Sudler, Legg and Moore to
introduce a bill to repeal the second section of an Act incor-
porating the Delaware Rail Road Company, passed at the
present session, and re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Corbin,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Corbin, Horsey and Hop-
kins to introduce a bill to amend the Act of 1867, chapter
290, relating to the appointment of overseers of the public
roads in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Corbin,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Corbin, Horsey and Hop-
kins to introduce a bill to repeal section 9 of Article 19 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset county, relating to
the appointment of overseer to the Alms House of said
county, and enact the following.

On motion of Mr. Chaisty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Chaisty, Smith, of Baltimore
city, and Morse to introduce a bill to repeal section 939, Ar-
ticle 4. of Public Local Laws, entitled "Water," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, so as to read as follows.

On motion of Mr. Robb,

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Bid-
dison, of Baltimore county, was absent from his seat in the
House on Saturday last, on account of pressing private busi-
ness.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to amend section 97 of Article 81 of
the Code of Public General Laws entitled "Revenue and
Taxes," so as to provide for the collection of all taxes or as-
sessments levied on the property, capital stock or effects of
any corporation or association of the State of Maryland, or
other corporation or association doing business in said
State, at its place of business.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Printing to intro-
duce a bill to provide for the publishing of the Laws in
one German paper.
