On motion of Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to report a
bill to amend the charter of the Cumberland and Pennsyl-
vania Rail Road Company.
On Motion of Mr. Gurbiu,

Leave was granted. Messrs. Corbin, Horsey and Holloway,
to introduce a bill to make valid certain official acts of John
Miller, as a Justice of the Pence for Somerset county.
On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill relating to the American Life Insurance and
Trust Company, reviving the supplements to the Act incor-
porating said company, so far as to enable the attorney of said
company to settle any transaction of sail company still open
and outstanding.

On motion of Mr. Wentz,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the German Savings Bank of
Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county delegation
to report a bill to authorize and empower the County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel county to levy and refund a cer-
tain sum of money to Samuel Redgraves, for county and school
taxes erroneously paid by him.
On motion of Mr. Chaisty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Chaisty, Harig, Morse, San-
ncr, and Pentland, to present a, bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 151, 152, 153 and 154 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled Coroners and Inquests in the
city of Baltimore, and to substitute the following in lieu
thereof:

On motion oi Mr. Coudy,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to report a bill to incorporate a company to make a turnpike
from Hancock, Md.. to the Pennsylvania line.
On motion of Mr. Williams,

Leave was granted to the delegation from Prince George's
county to introduce a bill to lay out and establish a new elec-
tion district in said county,, to be composed, of portions of the
5th, 8th and 4th election districts, the polls therein to br
held at Brandywine.

Mr. Chaisty, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the
following order:

Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be in-
structed to prepare a bill to provide for State and municipal
taxation upon the revenues accruing from business done in
the State by all foreign corporations ;

Which was adopted.
