Mr. Herbert submitted the following order :

Ordered, That in view of the fact that the people of this
State are much concerned in regard to the passage of the
School Bill, that this House will hold night sessions, so soon
as said bill is printed, commencing at 7 1/2 o'clock, on each
evening, and continue until said bill is disposed of.

Which was read.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, moved to lay the order on
the table.

The question being on concurring in the motion,
Mr. Coudy demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand being sustained,
