A bill entitled an Act to repeal the 25th and 26th sections
of the 16th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled "Chancery, relating to Divorces," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Also, unfavorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 329 of the Acts
of 1867, on selecting, drawing and summoning jurors in the
counties, and to re-enact Article 50 of the Code of Public
General Laws, from section 1 to section 15 inclusive, and
sections 17 and 18, and to re-enact section 16, as amended by
the Acts of 1865, chapter 78.
Which was read, and,
On motion of Mr. Harden,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and
The bill made the order of the day for Thursday next,
March 5th.
Also, unfavorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 179 and 180 of
Article 30 of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to Sabbath breaking, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
The report was adopted.
Also,
Reported that the committee having had under consideration
the bill entitled an Act to repeal section 18 of Article 73 of
the Public General Laws, entitled "Penitentiary,' and to
re-enact the same with amendments, were unable to agree,
and asked that the committee be discharged from the fur-
ther consideration of the same, and that the bill be referred
to the select committee on the Penitentiary, already ap-
pointed.
The committee were discharged and the bill so referred.
Also,
Reported that the committee having had under consideration
a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 48 of Article 28 of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled County Commis-
sioners, under the head of Bridges, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, were unable to agree, and asked to be
discharged from the further consideration of the same, and
