The petitition of Henry M. Murray, of Anne Arundel
county, to obtain a certain sum of money.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, presented the petition of 50
citizens of Bucktown District, Dorchester county, opposed to
the repeal of the Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Conway presented a petition from 500 citizens of Bal-
timore county against the repeal of the Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Beck presented the petition of sundry citizens to the
General Assembly to amend the charter of Chestertown.

Which was read and referred to the Kent and Queen
Anne's delegations.

Mr. Jordan presented a petition from Ephraim Cover, Al-
fred Warner, Abraham H. Gemian, and 47 other citizens of
District No. 2, in Carroll county, against the repeal of the
present Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Nelson presented the petition of citizens of Harford
county, against the repeal of the Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Davis presented the petition of Joseph Biggs, A. J.
Pennington, and 29 other citizens of Cecil county, praying
the passage of an Act authorizing the Commissioners of Cecil
and Kent counties to build a bridge over the Sassafras river,
at or near Fredericktown, in Cecil county, and Georgetown,
In Kent county.

Which was read and referred to the Cecil and Kent dele-
gations.

Mr. Poteet presented the petition of S. K. Griffith and
other citizens of Baltimore county, against the repeal of the
Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
