John H. Senseney, and 76 other citizens of Frederick and
Carroll counties, against the repeal of the present Funeral
Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Deale presented the memorial of R. T. Stewart, T. R.
Kent and 15 others of Anne Arundel county, against the
removal of the Tobacco Warehouses from the city of Baltimore
to Canton.

Which was read and referred to the joint committee on the
State Tobacco Warehouses.

Mr. Vaadiver presented a petition from J. E. Mechun,
Wm. H. Tucker, and 42 others, against the repeal of the
Funeral Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Frederick county, praying a division of the Frederick county
school fund derived from the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion.

Mr. Rohrer presented the memorial of Jacob Green wait, a
soldier in the war of 1812, asking a pension at the hands of
the State.

Also,

The memorial of Francis Reeder, a soldier of the war of
1812, asking a pension at the hands of the State.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Frederick county, praying the protection of black bass and
other fish in the waters of the Monocacy.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick county
delegation.

Mr. Williams presented the petition of 104 citizens of
Prince George's county, praying the passage of an Act crea-
ting an Election District out of portions of the 4th, 5th and
8th Election Districts of said county.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's dele-
gation.
