35 other citizens of Frederick county, opposed to the repeal
of the funeral law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Rose presented the petition of sundry citizens of Talbot
county against the repeal of the funeral law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Dalrymple presented the petition of 33 citizens of Cal-
vert county, against dredging for oysters in the waters of the
Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Oysters
and the Oyster Law.

Mr. Biddison presented the petition of Thomas E. Ensor,
and other citizens of Baltimore county, against the repeal of
the funeral law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Latrobe presented the petition of Mrs. Alien, Henry
Barrett, and others, soldiers and widows of soldiers of the
war of 1812-14, for an Act to be passed granting them pen-
sions.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Holloway presented the petition of 37 citizens of Wor-
cester county, opposed to the repeal of the funeral law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Chapman presented the petition of Eliza Williams,
widow of the late John Williams, a soldier in the war of
1812-14, praying a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Syester presented the petition of Daniel H. Myers and
others, of Washington county, against the repeal of the fune-
ral law.

Also, the petition of John W. Avey and others, of Wash-
ington county, against the repeal of the funeral law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
