Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington county to purchase the field-notes, books and records
of surveys, heretofore made within the limits of said county,
and to levy such tax as may be necessary to defray the ex-
penses of such purchase.
An Act to amend the Code of Public General Laws, title
Publication of Laws, by adding thereto an additional section
as follows :
An Act to incorporate a company to construct a turnpike
or gravel road from Cearefoss' Cross Roads, in Washington
county, through or near Fairview to the Pennsylvnnia line.
An Act to incorporate the Antietam Hotel Company of
Hagerstown.
An Act to authorize and require the Comptroller and
Treasurer to estimate the bonds of Kent county, that may be
issued by the County Commissioners of said county to pay
for stock subscribed in the Kent County Rail Road Company,
at the average price at which they may be sold, as cash paid
towards the construction of the Kent County Rail Road.
An Act to provide for the appointment of four Superin-
tendents to supervise and control the repairs and improve-
ments of public county roads in Allegany county; the one
leading from Oakland to Accident, and one from Accident
to the National Road, west of Grantsville ; the other from a
point on said road near McHenry's Gate to Selbysport, in
said county, and to authorize the County Commissioners of
said county to make levies for the repairs and improvement
of the same.
An Act to amend the 14th section of the Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Kent County Rail Road Company,
chapter 148, passed at January session, 1856, and to re-enact
the same as amended.
An Act to add an additional section to the Code of Public
General Laws, Article 69, entitled Officers.
An Act to enable Thomas Gemmell to hold lands and
dispose of the same.
