Davis for Monday next.

On motion of Mr. Morse,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to repeal section 18, of Article 73, of the Code
of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, it was

Ordered, That it he entered on the Journal of this House
that the absence of B. F. Guy from his seat yesterday was
caused by severe indisposition.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Midlothian Coal and Iron Company.

On motion of Mr. Mullin,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments
section 88 of Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Chancery," and relating to service of notice on
non-resident defendants.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted to the Allegany Delegation to report a
bill entitled an Act to amend section 188 of Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany county, relating to
wild animals.

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to report
a bill granting a pension of eighty dollars a year to Frances
H. Gray, of Baltimore city, the widow of John Gray, a sol-
dier of the war of 1812-14.

On motion of Mr. Nelson, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Vandiver have leave of absence until
Monday next.

On motion of Mr. Syester,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspection to in-
troduce a hill providing for the creation of an additional
Tobacco Inspector, and to establish as Tobacco Warehouse
