On motion of Mr. Clark,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Howard Central Turnpike
Company.

On motion of Mr. Beck,

Leave was granted to the Kent and Caroline delegations
to introduce a bill to repeal section two of the Act passed
March 13, 1867, chapter 286, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Chester Fruit packing Company, and to re-enact the
same with an amendment.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, Chairman of the Committee
on Militia, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to
repeal Article 63, Code of Public General Laws, relating to
Militia, and sections 652 to 770, both inclusive, of Article 4,
Code of Public General General Laws, relating to Militia in
the city of Baltimore, and to enact the following in lieu
thereof.

Which was read a first time, and,

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester,
One hundred extra copies ordered to be printed.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported unfavorably

A bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sections 1,
2 and 3, of Article 83 of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled Sales and Notices.

Which was read, and,
On motion of Mr. Coudy,

Made the order of the day for Thursday next, and ordered
to be printed.

Also, reported unfavorably

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 318 of Article 93
of the Public General Laws, entitled Testamentary Laws,
sub-title Wills, and to re-enact the same with an amend-
ment requiring caveators to give bond.

The report was adopted.

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably
