to conduct the schools through the year in several of the
counties."

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Morse,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Baltimore Citizen Rifle
Target Shooting Company.

On motion of Mr. Deale,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to
report a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel county to allow the Sheriffs of said county ad-
ditional compensation for boarding prisoners.

On motion Mr. Harden,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill fixing the amount of compensation allowed
to witnesses in the Circuit Courts of this State.

Mr. Devecmon moved that leave bo granted to the Alle-
gany delegation to report a bill continuing an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the North Branch Company, passed at the
session of the General Assembly on the 5th day of January,
1853, chapter 108.

Mr, Smith, of Baltimore city, moved that the leave be
referred to the Committee on Corporations.

Decided in the negative.

The motion of Mr. Devecmon was then decided in the
affirmative.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill entitled an Act to amend the 13th, 14th and
15th sections of Article 98 of the Code of General Laws
in relation to wild fowl.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Frederick and Williams-
port Rail Road Company.

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Cecil,

Leave was granted to the Cecil and Kent delegations to
introduce a bill to allow the County Commissioners of Cecil
and Kent counties to build a bridge across the Sassafras River
at or near Fredericktown and Georgetown, and to issue
bonds for payment of same.
