Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being the bill entitled an Act to repeal an
Act, passed February 5, 1867, chapter 24, entitled an Act
to add two additional sections to the 30th Article of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled ': Crimes and Punish-
ments," relating to funerals.

Said hill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. McElroy,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
hill made the order of the day for Tuesday, the 25th of
February.

Mr. Iglehart submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Chief Clerk be authorized to purchase a
new flag for the State House.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams submitted the following order :

Ordered, That leave of absence be granted Mr. C. Smith
Keech for to-morrow, Wednesday.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Clark submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Jones
is absent from his seat to-day on account of pressing busi-
ness.

Which was adopted,
