320 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 10,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 46 and 47 of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Somerset county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
185, and to re-enact the following sections in lieu thereof,

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Coudy,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Thursday next, 13th inst.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Dime Bank of
Cumberland,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to prevent the spread of a disease
called "glanders," in this State,

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Loker,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Committee on Agriculture.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to make
a turnpike road from the city of Westminster to the Balti-
more and Liberty Road, intersecting said road between the
village of Eldersburg and the Baltimore and Carroll county
line, in Carroll county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 21 and 25 oi
Article 74 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
" Pilots," and to re-enact the same with amendments, so as
to read as follows,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to allow additional compensation
to the Sheriff of Harford county, for boarding inmates of the
jail of said county,

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Nelson,
