The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
be paid to John De La Camp, in compensation for services in
completing the maps of surveys heretofore made by commis-
sioners appointed by the Act of 1856, chapter 220, to trace
and define the boundary lines betwen Maryland and Vir-
ginia,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Burkettsville Female Seminary, passed
January session, 1867, chapter 111,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 194, of Article 8,
of the Public Local Laws, entitled Anne Arundel county,
sub-title Sheriffs, and to re-enact another section in lieu there-
of, relating to the fees of Sheriff for keeping and boarding
prisoners,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 329 of the Act of
1867, in selecting, drawing, summoning jurors in the coun-
ties, and to re-enact Article 50 of the Code of Public General
Laws, from section 1 to section 15, inclusive, and sections
17 and 18, and to re-enact section 16, as amended by the Act
of 1865, chapter 78,

Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Mullen,
The further consideration thereof,
Was postponed, and
The bill referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point an additional Justice of the Peace for Dame's Quarter
and Princess Anne Election Districts, in Somerset county,

Being upon a second reading, was,

On motion of Mr. Corbin,
Recommitted to the committee which reported the same.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for a public ferry at
Rehoboth, in Somerset county.
