The bill entitled an Act to protect Clams and Shell Fish.
in Worcester county,

Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Wentz submitted the following amendment:
Strike out the word " before," in the 3d line, sec. 2.
Which was adopted.

The bill was then read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the tenth Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, Dorchester county, by adding
thereto the following sections, relating to the jurisdiction of
Justices of the Peace for said county,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize Betsy A. White,
guardian, to settle with her ward, David A. White, of
Wicomico county,

Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.

The hill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
164, entitled an Act to provide for the payment of costs in-
curred before Justices of the Peace, before appeal shall be
heard from their decisions,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The hill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed February
5th, 1867, chapter 24, entitled an Act to add two additional
sections to the 30th Article of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled " Crimes and Punishments," relating to fune-
rals,

Being upon a second read,

On motion of Mr. McElroy,
The further consideration thereof

Was postponed, and the bill made the order of the day
for Tuesday, the 18th February.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 58 of Article 16 of
the Code of Public General Laws, under the title of "Chan-
cery—Jurisdiction," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ment,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act for the relief of Columbus Scar-
borough, of Harford county,
