On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to repeal section 167, Article 93 of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled " Testamentary Law," and
to re-enact the same with an amendment.

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 2 and 3,
Article 36, title " Estrays," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Mr. Coudy, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of Washington and
counties, to levy a sum of money upon the taxable property
within their respective counties, sufficient to pay the several
clerks of the registers of voters within the said counties.

Which was read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the People's Ferry,
Towing and Transportation Company of Baltimore,

Being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Sanner,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Monday next, 17th of
February, and ordered to be printed.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 124 and 330 of
the Code of Public Local Laws relating to the corporate au-
thorities of the town of Millington, in Kent county, and to
enact a substitute for said section,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Pentland,

The vote by which the bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact with amendments sections 33, 34, 35, 39 and 75,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Revenue and
Taxes," and relating to the appointment of and the bonds to
be given by and compensation paid to the Collectors of said
taxes,

Was ordered to be recommitted to the Committee on Ways
and Means,

Was reconsidered.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
