LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

ballots shall contain the words "Against Railroad
Subscription," then this Act shall be void and of no
effect, and the judges of said municipal electron
shall return to the Mayor of Frederick the number
of votes cast "For Railroad Subscription" and
"Against Rail road Subscription" respectively, and
the said Mayor shall, by his proclamation, an-
nounce the result thereof.

In force.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

Approved March 30, 1868.

 

CHAPTER 424.

AN ACT to incorporate the town of Berlin, Wor-
cester County.

Corporation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the citizens of the town of
Berlin, in Worcester County, are hereby constitu-
ted a body corporate by the name of the " Com-
missioners of Berlin," and by that name may
have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, and
have and use a common seal.

Limits.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That the limits of
said town shall begin at the southeast corner of the
Buckingham Cemetery, and shall run from thence
by and with the south side of the Newport road
via the African Church to the northwest corner of
the Major Hill lot, and thence to the intersection
of the Sinepuxent road with Hudson's Branch,
thence to the south side of the bridge, over Nel-
son's Branch, on the Taylorsville road, thence to
the south side of the bridge at the intersection of
the St. Martin's and Whaleyville roads, thence to
L. P. Franklin's gate on the Libertytown road,
thence to the southwest corner of H. D. Yinglis'
lot on the road running from the Buckingham
Cemetery to John E. H. Marshall's gate, thence
