Emory's Ford, and to contract for the building of
the same.

CHAPTER 413.
AN ACT to repeal Sections one, thirty-seven,
thirty-eight, thirty-nine, forty and two of Chap-
ter two hundred and fifty-two of the Laws of
Maryland, passed January Session, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty seven, entitled An Act to repeal
the thirty -seventh, thirty-eighth, thirty-ninth
and fortieth Sections of the Code of Public.Gen-
eral Laws, entitled "Licenses," and substitute in
lieu thereof the following Sections :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections one, thirty-seven, thir-
ty-eight, thirty-nine, forty and two, of Laws of
Maryland, passed January Session eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-seven, entitled An Act to repeal
the thirty-seventh, thirty-eighth, thirty-ninth and
fortieth Sections of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Licenses," be and the same are
hereby repealed and the following substitued in
lieu thereof:

Shall not
offer for sale.

37. No person, not being a permanent resident
in this State, shall sell, offer for sale, or expose
for sale, within the limits of the city of Baltimore,
any goods, wares, or merchandise whatever, other
than agricultural products, and articles manufac-
tured in the State of Maryland, within the limits
