to, and that the several public officers to whom the
same or any part thereof may be paid, shall ren-
der quarterly to the Comptroller accounts of the
expenditures thereof, with the proper vouchers
thereof, verified by affidavit, except such parts as
may be disbursed out of the Executive Contingent
Fund, upon the order of th.e Governor, or such
further part thereof as may be for on account of
salaries fixed by the Constitution and Laws of this
State.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 411.
AN ACT to repeal the 149th, 150th, 151st, 152d,
153d, 154th, 155th, 156th and 157th Sections
of the Third Article of the Public Local Laws,
relating to Roads in Baltimore County, and to
re-enact the following Sections in lieu thereof:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections 149, 150, 151, 152,
153, 154, 155, 156, 157, of the Third Article of
the Code of Public Local Laws of this State, are
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That the following Sec-
tions be added to the Third Article of the Code of
Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland :

149. Each and every election district in Balti-
more County is hereby created a primary road dis-
trict, to be known as Primary District No. 1 —
Primary District No. 2 — and through the whole
number of districts, making their number, as pri-
mary road districts, conform to the present num-
bering of the election districts.
