the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of
the House of Delegates, for the publication of the
Laws for the present Session of the General As-
sembly, the sum of three hundred dollars each —
six hundred dollars ; for Contingent Fund of the
Court of Appeals, three hundred dollars.

LEGISLATURE.

 

To the Secretary of the Senate, three hundred
dollars ; to the Chief Clerk of the House of Dele-
gates, three hundred dollars ; for binding the
Laws, Journals and Documents of the present
Session, two thousand dollars ; to pay the expense
of distributing the Laws, Journals and Documents,
one hundred and fifty dollars ; to pay the members
of the General Assembly, their officers and atten-
dants, including the cost of printing, postage and
miscellaneous expenses, and the per diem to the
President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the
House of Delegates, one hundred and seventy-five
thousand dollars ; for the indexing of the Laws
and Journals of the Senate and House of Dele-
gates, twelve hundred dollars.

BALTIMORE CITY.

Secretary of
Senate, &c.

To the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, as
per Article four, Section one hundred and twenty-
seven, of Public Local Laws, entitled "Auctions,"
twenty thousand dollars ; to the members of the
Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore city, fifty dollars
each — one hundred and fifty dollars ; to the Regis-
ter of Baltimore city, three hundred dollars ; to
the Maryland Penitentiary, for so much on account;
of the salaries of its officers, eight thousand dol-
lars ; for the support of the Maryland Penitentiary,
twenty-five thousand dollars ; to the House of
Refuge, fifteen thousand dollars ; to the Home of
the Friendless, two thousand dollars ; to Rev.
Edward Brewnaa for the use of Saint Edward's
Academy in the city of Cumberland, to be applied
to the support and education of free scholars at
said Academy, three thousand dollars ; for Chil-
dren's Aid Society of Baltimore city, five hundred
dollars a year far two years ; for the Boys' Home,
