tax ; for Free Schools, including the bonus from
Banks, dividends from stocks standing to the credit
of the Free School Fund, and so much of the tax
on passengers on the Washington Branch of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad as has been substitu-
ted for the surplus revenue, seventy-five thousand
dollars ; for the education of the deaf and dumb,
seven thousand five hundred dollars; to the Agri-
cultural College six thousand dollars ; for donations
to Colleges, Academies and Schools, thirty-one
thousand five hundred dollars ; provided, that
none of the appropriations to Colleges, Academies
and Schools shall be paid to any such institution,
unless said institution shall have before the twen-
tieth day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, made a full report to the Comptroller, as
required by Section four of Article eighty-four of
the Code of Public General Laws.
CONTINGENT FUND.

Contingent
fund, &c.
|
To the Executive for the Contingent Fund pro-
vided in the Constitution, to be placed at his
disposal, seven thousand five hundred dollars; for
Contingent Fund of the Treasury Department,
fifteen hundred dollars ; for printing blank licenses,
protests, circulars, warrants and other books for
the Comptroller's office, two thousand dollars ;
for the Contingent Fund of the Library, including
the expense of postage, porterage and freight, sta-
tionery for the use of office, menial services, ad-
vertising and printing, fifteen hundred dollars ;
for the augmentation of the Library, as provided
by Section seventeen of Article fifty-five of the
Code of Public General Laws, one thousand dol-
lars ; for the cost of printing the Annual Report
of the Comptroller, eight hundred dollars ; for the
expense of advertising the list of Foreign Insu-
rance Agents, three hundred dollars ; for the ex-
pense of fuel and lights for the public buildings
and grounds, five thousand dollars ; for the Con-
tingent Fund for the Commissioner of the Land
Office, four hundred dollars ; for the postage of
the Executive and Treasury Departments, the
Land Office, the Adjutant General's Office and
Secretary of the Senate, one thousand dollars; to
