for the salary of the Comptroller of the Treasury
Department, twenty-five hundred dollars ; for the
salary of the Chief Clerk to the Comptroller,
fifteen hundred dollars ; for the salary of the two
Assistant Clerks to the Comptroller, twelve hun-
dred dollars each — twenty-four hundred dollars ;
for the salary of the Treasurer, twenty-five hun-
dred dollars ; for the salary of the Clerk to the
Treasurer, fifteen hundred dollars ; for the Com-
missioner of the Land Office, fifteen hundred dol-
lars ; for the State Librarian, fifteen hundred dol-
lars ; for balance of salary of Superintendent of
Public Instruction, to the expiration of his term
of services, fifteen hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary ; for the State Super-
intendent of Labor and Agriculture, twenty-five
hundred dollars ; to purchase port folios and small
ladders for the Land Office, and have certain re-
pairs done to the furniture therein, two hundred
dollars.

Salaries of
Judges, &c.
|
For the salaries of the Chief Judges of the first
seven Judicial Circuits, three thousand five hun-
dred dollars each — twenty-four thousand five hun-
dred dollars ; for the salaries of fourteen Asso-
ciate Judges of the first seven Judicial Circuits,
twenty-eight hundred dollars each — thirty-nine
thousand two hundred dollars ; for the Special
Judges of the Court of Appeals from Baltimore
City, the Chief Judge and four Associate Judges
of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, each
three thousand five hundred dollars — twenty-one
thousand dollars ; for the salary of the Attorney
General, three thousand dollars ; for Commissions
to Attorneys, five thousand dollars ; to the Sheriff
and Crier of the Court of Appeals, one thousand
dollars ; for the salary of the State Reporter, one
thousand dollars ; for the State's subscription to
two hundred copies each of the volumes twenty-
six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight and twenty-nine,
of the decisions of the Court of Appeals, forty-
eight hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary, and sixteen hundred and eighty dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary to
pay for the paper on which said volumes may be
