Sec. 17. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect upon its passage.

CHAPTER 410.
AN ACT to repeal the Act of eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, Chapter three hundred and
sixty-six, entitled "An Act making appropria-
tions for the support of the Government for the
year ending on the first day of January, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-nine," and to substitute
the following in lieu thereof:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act passed March the
twenty-second, eighteen hundred and sixty -seven,
Chapter three hundred and sixty-six, entitled
"An Act making appropriations for the support
of the Government for the year ending the first
day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-
nine," be and the same is hereby repealed, and
the following sections substituted in lieu thereof:

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That for the expendi-
tures in the support of the Government for the
year ending on the first day of January, eighteen
hundred and sixty-nine, the following sums of
money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be
and the same are hereby appropriated, that is to
say:
