Mr. Williams submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 7, 1868.

Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message proposing a joint special
committee of four on the part of the House, and three on the
part of the Senate, to whom shall be referred all propositions
looking to a removal of the tobacco warehouses of the
State from their present location, and respectfully concur
therein.

We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs. Wil-
liams, Hammond, Chapman and Herbert.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
bills, severally endorsed "Passed, by yeas and nays."

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of West-
ernport. Allegany County, Md.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Delaware Rail
Road Company to extend a branch railroad across the State
line into Kent County, Mtl.

The hill entitled an Act to repeal the 39th section of
Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Mont-
gomery County, relating to the number of Justices of the
Peace and Constables, and re-enacting the same so as to read

as follows.

Also,

Delivered the bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Hoov-
ersville and Baltimore Turnpike Company.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal a proviso in the 4th section
of the Act passed at January session, 1857, chapter 150, enti-
tled an Act to amend the charter of the Kent county Rail
Road Company, to secure the completion of said road by the
issuing of additional bonds of the Company, and to provide
for the payment of the State's subscription for stock, in said
Company, to waive the State's lien, relating to the State's
