Salary of
Governor, &c.
|
For the salary of the Governor of Maryland,
four thousand five hundred dollars ; for the salary
of the Secretary of State, two thousand dollars ;
for the salary of the Comptroller of the Treasury
Department, twenty-five hundred dollars ; for the
salary of the Chief Clerk to the Comptroller, fif-
teen hundred dollars; for the salary .of the two
Assistant Clerks to the Comptroller, twelve hun-
dred dollars each — two thousand four hundred
dollars; for the salary of the Treasurer, twenty-
five hundred dollars ; for the salary of the Clerk
to the Treasurer, fifteen hundred dollars ; for the
Commissioner of the Land Office, fifteen hundred
dollars; for the State Librarian, fifteen hundred
dollars ; for the State Superintendent of Labor
and Agriculture, twenty-five hundred dollars.

JUDICIARY.

Salaries for
Judges, &c.
|
For the salaries of the Chief Judges of the first
seven Judicial Circuits, three thousand five hun-
dred dollars each — twenty-four thousand five hun-
dred dollars ; for the salaries of fourteen Associate
Judges of the first seven Judicial Circuits, twenty-
eight hundred dollars each — thirty-nine thousand
two hundred dollars ; for the Special Judge of the
Court of Appeals from Baltimore city, the Chief
Judge and four Associate Judges of the Supreme
Bench of Baltimore city, each three thousand five
hundred dollars — twenty-one thousand dollars ;
for the salary of the Attorney General, three
thousand dollars; for commissions to Attorneys,
five thousand dollars ; to the Sheriff and Crier of
the Court of Appeals, one thousand dollars ; for
the salary of the State Reporter, one thousand
dollars; for the State's subscription to two hun-
dred copies of three volumes (thirty, thirty-one
and thirty-two) of the decisions of the Court of
Appeals, thirty-six hundred dollars, and twelve
hundred and sixty dollars to pay for the paper on
which said volumes may be printed in accordance
with the Act of Assembly of eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, Chapter four hundred and ten.
