For the salary of the Adjutant General of Mili-
tia, two thousand dollars ; to the State Armorers
at Easton and Frederick, each three hundred dol-
lars — six hundred dollars ; for the payment of pen-
sions granted by Acts and resolutions of the Gen-
eral Assembly, one hundred and twenty thousand
dollars ; for clerical services in the Adjutant Gen-
eral's office, two thousand dollars.

For the salaries of the Five Inspectors of To-
bacco in Baltimore City, twenty-five hundred dol-
lars each — twelve thousand dollars ; for insurance
on State Tobacco Warehouses, three hundred dol-
lars ; for the payment of the annual ground rent
on the Tobacco Warehouse lots in Baltimore, four
hundred and forty-eight dollars and eleven cents.

For the several counties of this State and to
Baltimore City, to be apportioned as the Legisla-
ture may direct, four hundred and fifty thousand
dollars, or whatever sum may be paid into the
Treasury on account of the levy of Public School
Tax ; for free schools, including the bonus from
Banks, dividends from Stocks standing to the
credit of the Free School Fund, and so much of
the tax on passengers on the Washington Branch
of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, as has been
substituted for the Surplus Revenue, seventy-five
thousand dollars ; for the education of the Deaf
and Dumb, seven thousand five hundred dollars ;
to the Agricultural College, six thousand dollars ;
for donations to Colleges, Academies and Schools,
thirty-one thousand five hundred dollars; provided,
that none of the appropriations to Colleges, Acad-
emies and Schools, shall be paid to any such insti-
tutions, unless said institutions shall before the
twentieth day of January, eighteen hundred and
sixty-nine, make a full report to the Comptroller
as required by Section four of Article eighty-foui
of the Code of Public General Laws.
