CHAPTER 396i
AN ACT granting the assent of the Legislature
to a bequest made in the last will and testament
of Margaret Dods, late of Carroll County, de-
ceased, to the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church,
in New Windsor, Carroll County, Maryland.

WHEREAS Margaret Dods, late of Carroll Coun-
ty, deceased, by her last will and testament, gave
and bequeathed to the Pastor of the Presbyterian
Church, in New Windsor, Carroll County, Mary-
land, one hundred dollars, to be paid in ten equal
annual installments of ten dollars each ; therefore,

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland , That the assent of the Legislature
of this State be and is hereby given to carry into
effect the bequest in said last will and testament of
said Margaret Dods, late of Carroll County, de-
ceased, aforesaid, in favor of the Pastor of the
Presbyterian Church, in New Windsor, in said
county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 397.
AN ACT for the relief of the Faculty of Physic
of the University of Maryland, by appropriating
a sum of money therefor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of twenty-five hun-
dred dollars be and the same is hereby annually
appropriated for four years to the Faculty of Phy-
sic of the University of Maryland, and that the
said sum shall be paid by the Treasurer, upon the
