Take effect.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage, and may be
altered, amended or repealed at the pleasure of the
General Assembly.

CHAPTER 395.

AN ACT to repeal Section eight of Article thir-
teen of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
" Howard County," sub-title " County Commis-
sioners," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section eight of Article thirteen
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " How-
ard County," sub-title " County Commissioners,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and the follow-
ing enacted in lieu thereof:

Compensa-
tion.

Sec. 8. The Collector for the First Collection Dis-
trict shall receive four per cent., and the Collector
for the Second Collection District four per cent., on
all sums by them respectively collected and paid
over, and the. said County Commissioners shall, in
the general levy for State and County taxes, in-
clude an amount sufficient to cover the commission
for collecting the whole of said taxes at the rates
aforesaid.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage.
