CHAPTER 345.
AN ACT to amend an Act, entitled "An Act to
incorporate a company to build a Turnpike Road
from the Georgetown Turnpike to the Public
Road leading from Adamstown to Greenfield
Mills," passed by the General Assembly of
Maryland, at its January Session, in the year
eighteen hundred and sixty, Chapter three hun-
dred and twenty-three.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections one, two, three, six,
eight, eleven and thirteen, of the Act passed by
the General Assembly of Maryland, at its Jan-
uary Session, in the year eighteen hundred and
sixty, Chapter three hundred and twenty-three,
entitled "An Act to incorporate a Company to
build a Turnpike Road from the Georgetown Turn-
pike to the Public Road leading from Adamstown
to Greenfield Mills," be, and the same are hereby
repealed, and that the following be enacted in lieu
thereof:

Repealed and
re-enacted.

Sec. 1. That a Company be incorporated to make
a Turnpike Road from the Georgetown Turnpike,
at the point where it is intersected by the Public
Road leading from Nolan's Ferry to Frederick
town, through Buckeystown and Licksville, at
Nolan's Ferry, on the Potomac River, to be known
as the Buckeystown Turnpike Road Company.

Incorporation

Sec. 2. That subscription books may be opened
under the direction of George Markell, L. S. Clin-
gan, John H. Nelson, James S. Davis, Col. Wm.
Richardson, T. C. Delaplane, Capt. James W.
Cheswell3 A. S. Snouffer, Josiah Thomas, at such
time and place as they may designate, for a capital
stock of twenty-five thousand dollars, in shares of
tweuty dollars each, who are hereby appointed
Commissioners for the purpose aforesaid, who, af-
ter at least twenty days' notice, by publication in
at least three newspapers in Frederick, of the time
and place of opening said subscription books, shall
attend at said time and place, and shall permit all
persons and corporations who shall offer to sub-
