ton for three days.

Mr. Chapman submitted the following order :

ordered, That the use of this Hall be granted Professor

Carson. of St. John's College, Annapolis, on Wednesday

evening next, for the delivery of a lecture on English Litera-

ture.

Mr, Keech submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Williams have leave of absence until
Wednesday next, being called home on business connected

with his duties as a member of this House.

Mr. Herbert submitted the following order :

Ordered, That leave of absence for two days, commencing

with to-morrow, be granted S. R. Gilbert, Sergeant-at-arms

of this House, to visit his family.

Ordered, That instead of ten copies of the daily Journal
as now furnished, the printer be instructed to furnish each
memberwith 50 copies, "weekly," of the Journal in the long
form, without extra cost or charges.

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that Messrs,
Robb, Bowlus, Beck, Kean, and Morse are absent on busi-
ness connected with this House.
