On motion of Mr. Coudy.

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation to
introduce a bill to amend the Act passed January session.
1807, chapter 304, to incorporate the Central Maryland Rail
Road Company.

On motion of Mr. Latrobc,

The vote by which the nbovc leave was granted to the
Washington county Delegation,

Was reconsidered, and,

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
The leave was referred to the Committee on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Mullin.

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact with an amendment,
section 612 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "City of Baltimore," and relating to the summoning
of Talesmen in the courts of said city.

On motion of Mr. Riggs,

Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the Comptroller to invest the balance
of the unappropriated fund arising from the sale oi the Land
Scrip donated to this State by the United States, for the benefit
uf agricultural and mechanical arts.

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill providing for indexing the dockets on the law
and equity side of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county, by
the Clerk of said county.

On motion of Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to authorize the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to appropriate a sum of money for the preserva-
tion of the land records of said city.

On motion of Mr. Hubbard,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to prevent the carrying and using pistols, bowie
knives and. billys by minors in Caroline county.

On motion of Mr. Pentland,

Leave was granted Messrs. Peatlancl, Slingluff, Sanner,
Biddison, McElroy and Nicolai, to introduce a bill to repeal
